Under 16's KYL vs Tankerton

Match Date: 19 November 2017
Score: 6-0

Bearsted travelled to Whitstable today to face Tankerton FC in the third round of the Kent County Cup.

The game started and BFC had to quickly adapt to the bobble pitch, keeping possession and controlling it from the start was important and they did that ok. It wasn’t going to be easy but the conditions applied to both teams, it took the boys 15 minutes to settle down until George Hall smashed home a goal to make it 1-0. This fired him up and a few moments later he used his strength to battle the centre back and scored a second to make it 2-0 and then again with a rocket that smashed the post and went in to achieve his hatrick 3-0 BFC. They now started to look comfortable and after some great one touch football Brad Richards hit a peach of a shot from outside the box on his left foot into the top corner to make it 4-0 at half time.

The second kicked off and the boys took ten minutes to settle back into the game, but soon Matt Morse broke out from the left got around the keeper and scored a goal to make it 5-0 BFC.

Then after Brad managed to get a touch out to George Hall he smashed it passed the keeper to make it his 4th goal and the final result 6-0 Bearsted.

Man of the Match: George Hall

Job well done today considering the conditions, that means they are through to the quarter finals.
