Score: 3-4

Unfortunately for Bearseted this result was to mirror previous games whereby they were unable to maintain a lead and being denied a result during the final minutes. For much of the first half play was to flow from end to end as both sides were to go close to scoring, particularly when Jess Darko shot narrowly wide and then for the home side in similar style John Rogers was to miss at the other end. However more notably, it was Chris Edwards who was to come closest when he found himself in on goal only for him to fire high over the bar. The breakthrough did come though after 41 minutes when Darko found himself in a position to send the ball into the net.
During the spell after the half time break Bearsted reacted quite brightly and they should have equalised shortly after when Emmanuel Oluwasemo headed a left wing corner narrowly wide at the far post. Things though were to get worse for them after 57 minutes when a lofted pass caused a chaotic misunderstanding which in turn gifted the opportunity for James Philpot to roll the ball into an unguarded net. However 4 minutes later things were to turn when James Bessey-Saldanha picked up the ball on the edge of the area to run on and send in a shot across the outstretched arm of diving goalkeeper Nick Blue. Almost immediately after so the home side were to level when Oluwasemo ran into the area and set up Mikey Dalton to send the ball home from close range. As the half now cprogressed so the game was now edging in a different direction and after 82 minutes, following some link up play with Saldanha, Peter Williams was able to steer the ball to take the lead. Glebe’s response though was a positive one and 2 minutes later they were to equalise when Edwards was to benefit from a further defensive error. Remarkably Bearsted were once more not able to hang on long enough and with only 3 minutes remaining they were to be punished yet again when this time Darko found himself the benefactor to score and win the game
