A True Legend

13th February 1947 – 18th February 2018

It was very sad to learn of the death of Geoff Saysell who over the past 45 years has been a stalwart of our Club. After his arrival in the early seventies he played briefly for us on the village green, but generally he will be remembered for his support and involvement over that time in all sorts of ways. Perhaps moreover for his genial personality, friendship and fun that he brought to us all. He was always also being remembered as a regular supporter at our games and was always on hand after to celebrate or commiserate our good or bad results. For him it always had to be fun and there was no shortage of that with Geoff. Most certainly the Club is much poorer at having lost a truly genuine and kind man who was always able to bring a smile to our faces.
God Bless you Geoff.
